Add fitness to your calendar … literally
Fall sports have started, school is in session and family time is a whirlwind. An easy way to make Fitness a Priority is to add your workout time to the calendar each week. Physically type it in. If you schedule time beforehand, there’s a higher chance you will make it happen. It’s always daunting to add yet another item to your calendar, but if it’s fitness, that addition will force positive stress-reaction adaptations in your body. You will be able to handle your busy schedule with less stress and with more joy. Taking care of yourself is one of the best gifts you can give your family, especially amidst the busiest and most stressful times of the year.
Tip shared by Chad Austin, certified personal trainer and owner of the Priority Fitness studio. Each week, we publish a health and wellness tip that is shared at the Make Fitness A Priority community workout. The free group class happens every Saturday at 7:50 a.m.
