Operate on a “Whatever it Takes” mentality

October 12, 2019/in Weekly Tips

By Chad Austin

It’s definitely Fall! With the cooler temperatures, prepare yourself to stomp on all weather-related excuses. Find your warm gear for your outdoor cardio sessions and give your body time to adapt to the cold. If you know you can’t handle it, even all bundled up, find a gym or friend’s basement with a treadmill or stationary bike. There are tons of body weight cardio circuits that you can find online and do in your living room. Make your own jump rope, squats, burpees and sit-ups pyramid. Whatever you do, beat the cold! You’ll be so glad you did once spring rolls in.

Tip shared by Chad Austin, who has been a leader in the fitness industry since 2003. He has experience as an athlete, coach, student, teacher, client, and trainer. He is the owner of Priority Fitness and a co-organizer for Priority Fit Camp. Each week, we publish a health and wellness tip that is shared at the Priority Fit Camp community workout. The free group class happens every Saturday at 7:50 a.m.
