Surround yourself with like-minded people to ensure success in behavior change
By Chad Austin
When you make a health and fitness goal for yourself, take a moment to think about those with whom you surround yourself. Are they supportive? Do they share in similar lifestyle habits and choices that lead you to your goals? Make it a point to spend time with them, involve them in your daily life, and learn from each other. On your journey, if you find there are those who deter you from good choices or sway you in the wrong direction, create some distance, especially if you feel particularly weak or know you lack self-motivation and discipline. You have to make changes to see changes. Today, you can change your story. You have the power. Make the change, one choice at a time.
