How much water do you need to avoid dehydration?

The human body is about 60% water, so dehydration will lead to quick fatigue and poor performance during workouts. Even slight dehydration leads to a full body shutdown including: a decrease in max strength and reps, hinders heart rate recovery, makes your brain go foggy and even alters carbohydrate and fat metabolism. General recommendations for daily intake are about 125 oz for men and 95 oz for women.
